Team Members

My name is Farouk Akl. I was born in Aley, Lebanon, and have been living in the Alberta rural area since 1986 with my beautiful family of five. I have served and still serving as a board member at the DAE since 2018. I have been involved in multiple tasks that have helped strengthen and build our community. As a business owner in a small Alberta town, I have actively participated in major fundraising projects for schools and government organizations in Alberta. My goal as a vice president of the Aley and districts association is to utilize my experience in business and management to enhance and grow our community.
